Medium: oak wood, chengal, walnut, tree branch, very small amounts of plywood and pine wood. Finish: hand-oiled one table leg & bee waxed
Tray’s size: W 147mm x L 147mm x H 50mm
Pedestal’s size: W 292mm x L 512mm x H 365mm (H 670mm if with tree branch)
Project’s title: Bedside table (informed by complimentary opposites)
Constructed by: mitre, mortise and tenon, cross halving edge to edge joint.

Some process pictures during my planning stages- using blue foam to create small prototypes and doing technical drawings on Rhino. As you can see, the final design of my bedside table is different from what I planned. 

Through this project, I have learnt to compromise and accept that my final outcome may be slightly different from my planning stage. There may not be materials that I want, time, skills limitations etc. I just have to reduce, let go and just embrace and enjoy the process.
